I'm actually amazed at how well my #Linux transition has gone. My laptop (an ASUS FA617NS) has switchable graphics, which has historically been a nightmare for me even on Windows. But after installing OpenSUSE Tumbleweed it just works! The only trick was that I could not install Steam from Flatpak and had to do it from zypper instead. Apparently something about the fact that Flatpak apps are containerized means fancy hardware setups tend to break them.
