Here was the broken trace on the Classic. Pin 10 of UI6. The input to the final video buffer, which made this machine chime and boot but with a black screen.
This gives me a good opportunity to test the very nice looking Macintosh Pico Video board by @DosFox that I just assembled! It’s really meant for the 128/512/Plus but should in theory work for the Classic too. I think… :)
@DosFox Oh! Right… The Classic video signal is inverted compared to the 128/512/Plus. I’ve been burned by this before. At least the image is nice and clear thanks to the Pico Video. The repaired Classic board appears to work great! Another one saved!
