@SteveFaulkner We need more highlights from the wcag github, so that people know that it's not easy to come to a consensus for even one aspect in one issue/criteria of the WCAG guidelines.
I don't think it's easier for lay people to participate though as the discussion is very much empirical, doctrinal and technical.
But they can share their phenomenological experience of the problem of course.
