Starting off my third day at #IETF125 with the Birds of a Feather (BoF) named:

Coordinating Agent To Agent List of efforts
(CATALIST)

Essentially, this is a session to look at all the various efforts the #IETF has been doing around #AI ... and exploring what makes the most sense for the IETF to work on.

The key questions for the CATALIST BoF at #IETF125 about #AI activities at #IETF include:

—-
• What broad topics belong in the IETF scope?
• Which working groups are already active?
• Enough expertise/people in the IETF for new work?
• What coordination activity would be useful?
• Why are existing processes not enough?
• Would a coordination/discussion group be useful?
• Would similar future meetings be useful?
• If we have another meeting, what should the scope be?

When people are proposing new standards, it's good to always remember XKCD 927:

@danyork “The good thing about standards is that there are so many to choose from.”
