Still not bored with using these funky new stations

People are definitely using the new stations, waves of people were passing me coming up from the platforms as I was heading into State Library station from Melbourne Central.

From futuristic to retro - just transferred at Footscray from shiny new train to Z-class tram.

Seems so much quicker getting to Footscray via the new Metro Tunnel. Not having to go round the city loop saves time, at least psychologically. :)

@timrichards I wouldn’t judge that based on the interchange stations because people have to use them. I’d judge them based on how much Parkville & Anzac are being used (Arden… give that one a bit of time)
@ThermiteBeGiants @timrichards Parkville was pretty busy about 25 minutes ago. There's been a massive uptick since Uni came back.
@mike @ThermiteBeGiants Interestingly there are still a lot of people getting on Elizabeth St trams from Melbourne Central station, noticed it this morning. Presumably yet to try the train option.
@timrichards @uep What are they like for noise?
@sendai @uep They seem fine. I suppose the safety doors along the platforms keep noise down in the stations.

@timrichards @uep Ah, I didn't realise there are doors, but I can just see them in the pic.

I asked as there have been some amusing oversight of modern arched structures focusing noise where people would be. Didn't seem to be the case there, but it's hard to tell without exact dimensions/being there.
