@snorker
It was on a state visit to Germany, October 3 2025
@snorker Unfortunately the Elysee didn't get the memo. But I still think it was really good that he said it. I was truly positively overwhelmed that it was said loud and clear by such a prominent figure.
I'm guessing he doesn't personally manage the web site.
@snorker The German Bundestag however got the memo 🤩 👍 🎉 Best in class, hands down, no competition.
Page footer of the German Bundestag web site. No links to X corp, the holocaust denying, CSAM producing social that wants the abolishment of the European Union.
@leanderlindahl @snorker We have our own instance for the government and related:
https://social.bund.de
I wish #Finland and the rest of the Nordics/Europe would learn too.
But I guess they prefer proprietary solutions so far..
@leanderlindahl The REALLY stupid thing is, that SHOULD be their concern, because without a functioning democracy, they're fucked, too. It's in their interests, but they're too stupid to appreciate that.
You can tell because of incredibly stupid ideas like Zuck's Hawaiian bunker. He's just building his own tomb, which he could do for much less money. Also for less money, he could work for a world wherein he doesn't need to worry about that.
