I’m in a poker room off London’s Leicester Square rn and there are nineteen live tables of poker right now. Normally, when I say there are no women in the room I mean there are like four out of a hundred. I’m literally the only one here out of maybe 150. Is the UK even *more* not about women playing poker? ♦️

@Tarah Hippodrome? My general observation/experience is that in most UK rooms, you will see about 5% female players but more likely at three weekend than in the week.

@Tarah If it is Hippo, they host women's festivals in collaboration with Stars. Sad that that sounds like it's not translating into wider representation.
