Hey fedivenner 😀 Er der nogen af jer der ved hvorfor min nyligt uploadede screencast til PeerTube kun vises i 240p?

Er det blot et spørgsmål om at vente på transcoding, eller er det fordi at PeerTube er bedst til 16/9?

@oldrup @peertube is it your instance or someone else's? If it's yours, you need to check what you have ticked in the VOD "resolutions to generate" section in your instance settings.

If you aren't then you need to have the instance owner do it.

@Mrfunkedude @peertube It's not mine, and it's a tiny one. My portrait phone screencast might be the only one not 16:9 aspect ratio. Not sure if that's even supported.

Was wondering if variable bit rate was the issue, so I converted to 30 fps and re-uploaded but to no avail.

Experimentally I moved the video to another instance, and here's its crisp and clear.

So I guess it is, as you suggest, a matter of instance settings. Thank you for your hint @Mrfunkedude
