The EASIEST cake you’ll ever make! #baking - #fromscratchbaker

I am not grasping the point of this video. It won't help me actually make a cake. Is this the cake equivalent of the weather channel?
Defining amounts but just dumping random quantities in. "450 grams of self-rising flour" but she's just pouring it out of the bag and hoping.
She clearly lined the pans with parchment paper so they won't stick, but there's no mention of pan preparation or even what size pan to use (and believe me, if you choose the wrong pan size, bake times will be completely wrong).
Sure, dollop in the vanilla. It'll taste good, but that stuff is outrageously expensive. I am measuring each drop of that liquid gold.
Ice cream scoop to make sure there's exactly the same amount in each pan. It is wild to me that the rest of the video is "the recipe is a suggestion, put in what seems good" but the amount of batter in each pan *must* be *identical*. My whole childhood I just dumped it in so the pans looked about the same.
Why?!?
