The “texture and warmth” you may think you’re getting from celluloid film is mostly coming from lensing, lighting, and production design.

@tvaziri I’ve been amazed at the quality LiveGrain® is able to generate. I first heard of it in the credits of Soderbergh’s No Sudden Move, but apparently it’s been around a while.
