Warl0k3Isn’t the US refusing to send it’s warships there? Like it’s not that they can’t, it’s that they’re using their lack of progress or enforcement there to force broad consent to the war in iran from the US’s allies by using the straight closure to force their hand economically.
Why do you assume there is a strategy? If there had been one we wouldn’t be at this point. It’s really sad to think that’s what it boils down to, but it is just:
It’s all about bullying others and pretending that whatever happens was the plan all along. Except now nothing happens and we are all just waiting for the bully to get bored and go play with his new ballroom.
Why do you assume there is a strategy?
They’re evil - but they’re not so evil they don’t have a plan. Even if it’s a bad plan, it’s still a plan, and while the main characters here are in fact idiots, there’s some very smart people manipulating them. I don’t know if their strategy will work, but they’re still going to try for it.
They are:
- evil
- shockingly stupid in a lot of shocking ways
- are absolutely convinced they’re they smartest guys in the room
There is no plan. Seriously.
The plan of the Nationalist Christians that are pushing for a lot of this shit is chaos, violence, and bloodshed. They are trying to bring - and think they are bringing - about the biblical end-times.
