@jpetazzo the three buttons between the main key area and the numpad are home/pgup/pgdn by default, I think? you can remap it, but by default there's just two of each of those

Jigme Datse@blaurascon An issue I have often is the layout is too tight. For most typing that's not a problem, but when I have to stretch to hit a key like the backspace, I will often not have that as "just" where I'm aiming, but hit a function key, or something.

@devlin ill make a note of those for when my sidewinder finally dies. I have an IBM PS/2 clone but it's a bit noisy for a shared study.
@MortonRobD They're decent mechboards and a little louder than the sidey, though it's not by much - you might miss the macro keys, but the passthru usb port on the back of the keyb is really good to have

its still marketed under "compact" being 1.5u (a tab button worth of space) wider than a 96% (not-standardized), as far as i can tell a 96% looks about like these

Really I'd like this K860 keyboard, but with actual permanent F-keys, not this "shared with the media player" stuff. where I can never remember what mode the keys are in.
@arafel @blaurascon I have the K740, unfortunately no longer made, but the PF keys are always Function unless you hit FN along with for the media stuff.
