Lance Solomon Reddick (June 7, 1962 – March 17, 2023) was an American actor and musician. He was best known for playing Cedric Daniels in The Wire. He also played Charon in the John Wick movies.

@audubonballroon So many untimely deaths in the (admittedly large) The Wire cast... Reddick's Lt. Daniels was a real pillar of the series. A great actor now already gone three years.
