And the cheapest beer in Europe is found in...
@infobeautiful In Bulgaria the beer is nearly 1€.
@nlupo @infobeautiful in Bulgaria beer is almost big, giant one euro, in Lithuania - just smallest 4 little euros 😎
@infobeautiful I wonder what they look like when adjusted for purchasing-power parity?
@infobeautiful Me getting absolutely tanked in West Ukraine: "I'm helping the economy!"
@infobeautiful Why so expensive in Norway?
@kimlockhartga
High wages, high alcohol taxes
@infobeautiful
@notsoloud @infobeautiful oh okay. Kinda like how tobacco products are heavily taxed here.
@infobeautiful good luck getting half a litre for 5 euro in the Netherlands.
@infobeautiful Finland does not love you back if you love beer. 🙂
@infobeautiful this is nowhere near the avg price for 0.5l beer in a uk restaurant!

@infobeautiful I'm from the Czech Republic. That infographic is misleading. Vodka will be significantly cheaper in Russia than here. Wine will be cheaper in France than here. Also Pastis. Aquavit in Denmark will be more affordable than here.

And I'm not talking about the average wage in different states.

@infobeautiful restaurant prices though.

Supermarket prices are odd. I could buy a 500ml can of beer in a Berlin supermarket during COVID for €0.45 with a 10c pfand (refundable deposit) for the can.

I miss those days. Australia charges criminal levels of tax on alcohol. Struggling to find beer at less than AUD$5 per 350ml can here

When's that from? 2000? I dare you to find a €4 pint in NL or a €6 pint in DK.
@infobeautiful €4 / 0,5l seems aboit right for Germany, as most beers are offered in 0,2l / 0,25l / 0,3l / 0,33l glasses.
