I'd LIKE to try CachyOS, but the bootable USB I made isn't...booting.

I commented on a forum post by somebody with a very similar issue. We'll see how that goes.

@TheLastOfHisName Ventoy is your friend. I quit making bootable flash drives years ago.

Ventoy

Ventoy is an open source tool to create bootable USB drive for ISO files. With ventoy, you don't need to format the disk again and again, you just need to copy the iso file to the USB drive and boot it.

@TheLastOfHisName @RockyC I wouldn't use it, its known to not work with #gentoo and #gnome os ISO's and has binary blobs in it https://github.com/ventoy/ventoy/issues/3224 AND does shady things with secureboot https://github.com/ventoy/ventoy/issues/135

Called up the boot menu nd selected my flash drive. Got Cachy installed last night. So far, so good. Different, but that's a good thing.
