OBiW4NSHiNOBiThoroughly enjoyed Project Hail Mary on the IMAX tonight. It was definitely worth the trip to the #Bradford Science and Media Museum.
M and H both now want their own Rocky.

Had you read the book first? I'm very familiar with the book and @johnl remembered the bare bones of it. I'm curious to hear how people with no knowledge of the book found it.
@louisa_ @johnl I was very familiar having both read it and listened to the audiobook (which is superb).
Four of us went to see it and I was the only one of us with any knowledge beyond the trailer and they all loved it.
Arguably, they probably had a better time than me as they weren't comparing it to the source material. :)
@OBiW4NSHiNOBi only just spotted this message but yay! Glad to hear some new-to-it people enjoyed it too. I think I was so aware about what context had been missed out that I wasn't sure if enough had been left in - if you know what I mean.
