@michaelc Weirdly, this is the third time I've come to the end of a contract on the week of my birthday.
@eldritch48 That's almost like a stealth version of the pre-Christmas layoff. With Xmas at least everyone knows it's sucky. But not everyone is aware when your birthday is (social media posts about it notwithstanding).
