Somehow it is not bigger news: the CDU here in Berlin has cut the funding of soo many NGOs, and the organizations that got funding had deep ties to the CDU. They got caught for that. And now the only consequence is: they fired one of the few people inside the gov who actively warned against this and tried to prevent it. Thanks, CDU.
