I am reclaiming wool from a cardigan for the first time. I was using a hanger to wind up the wool and it was going really well, until this weird topology stuff happened 😅 send help

@catobelli I haven’t heard about steam, but I was hoping that soaking it in water with Eucalan will do the trick

@moss1392 some people steam the wool after frogging and pulling the skein tight. Others let the yarn get damp over a bit of boiling water and wind them back up afterwards. It helps relax the fibers and you don't get the memory of the stitches in your reclaimed yarn.

Soaking the yarn may do the trick as well. I haven't tried that one myself, yet.
