If you are tall or have broad shoulders, you may particularly benefit from the ergonomics of a truly split keyboard.

There are options in all sizes and layouts.

@markstos Those keycaps are wonderful !

@lord Those are MT3 profile keycaps in the Skiidata colorway, based on Austrian Skidata terminals.

Here's the original inspiration:

@markstos I really like the MT3 profile. These must be very comfortable.

@lord My first impression was the MT3 keycap profile was that I hated them. I literally put them back in the box. They give so much tactile feedback about where your fingers are on the key that I initially found it quite distracting. After a few days, I tried again and came to strongly prefer them for the same reason! The bowl shape of each key keeps fingers centered. The F and J are scooped slightly deeper to help locate the home row without using the nubs.

@markstos yep i have some of them on my keyboard (with many other profiles) and i like the bowl :-)
@markstos I checked : i don't have MT3 but only SA which are a bit taller and in PBT.
@lord It's hard to see from overhead photos, but the top row of MT3 is tilted towards the home row, as is the bottom row, while the home row is flatter. This mirrors how the natural reach of fingers as the fingers bend up and down to hit the higher and lower rows, another small ergonomic win.
