@louie It's admittedly been about a decade since I've last been to Japan, but I still see it in Japanese supermarkets states-side, so hopefully it isn't too hard to spot if you wanted to experience it!

@bondo The only thing the translation is missing is the onomatopoeia “chu—“ which is like a slurping sound.

But this is a pun. A translation doesn’t clue you into that.

In the first panel, Purple says something unknown (◯◯), with Yellow responding なるほど (I see). When Purple says something else, Yellow responds たしかに (surely). The third panel, Purple takes a drink. The final panel has Yellow say ソーダね (soda, yeah?) which is phonically identical to そうだね (I agree).
