Once in a while, I look at #mesh #networks, with the objective to discover and play with #radio / #lora tech, wanting to learn about independent and resilient networking.
And each time, I found some essential choice to do which makes me postpone the hardware acquisition.
This time is about the network: #meshtastic #meshcore and #reticulum are the ones and I really feel the latter is the more interesting (I know they can't be directly compared)

While it looks like #meshcore is the way to go down in #melbourne, I'm curious if anybody know of any #reticulum nodes set up down here?

Comparing https://rmap.world with https://map.meshcore.dev/?zoom=8&lat=-38.0589&lon=143.3249 and https://meshmap.net it looks like I might be pretty lonely down here if I dive into Reticulum right away
