I’m trying something different that I got at the pen show. A Tom’s Studio Wren that uses fountain pen ink but isn’t a fountain pen. I’m hoping it works as a travel/pocket pen. Yes, I have pocket fountain pens but they can burp in the heat of a pocket.

@SergKoren Interesting! I’d love to try something similar to save some of my rollerballs - they use only disposable plastic cartridges so I’ve stopped using them.

@Hawaii it works pretty well, but they use a weird cotton capillary filling mechanism. It saves a bit of plastic but is limiting in that changing inks is a bit harder cleaning-wise.
