el_mapachitoI would suggest people read Ursula K. LeGuin's 1968 A Wizard Of Earthsea instead. It is where Rowling took a lot of her stuff from. And it's actually literature.

I've also heard that she was also inspired by a #Brazilian #TVShow from the 90's when she lived in Portugal.
