@stux any ideas behind the motivations of the people running these?

Are they just curious what it'll get up to? Clearly they're making no serious effort to disguise the fact it's a bot. Couldn't these people just create an LLM-only Mastodon network that doesn't federate with actual Fedi, if they're just tinkering around? Why do they have to make it our problem?
