I think the pseudo left is starting to realize that generative AI actually does have uses and is a new backbone technology. It would have been better had they been present to argue for responsible use rather than collapsing into fantasy that AI wasn't a thing.
We NEED people IN AI demonstrating why it can't be giving out medical advice, why it can't automate criminal investigations etc. Not just people screaming on social media.
