Pixelfed
@meoralis Another hashtag bug. I forgot to add #FotoVorschlag and added it as an edit and ran into this one: https://github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed/issues/5662 Frustrating!
I might be wrong, but it feel like the developers have shifted their efforts from Pixelfed to Loops.
Yes, completely! We'd hoped that with the launch of Loops, the focus might shift back to Pixelfed for some much needed TLC, but months later, we still haven't heard anything or seen any improvements 👀
Sad thing is, I have no interest in Loops and PixelFed has 20x the active users that Loops does.
Yeah, me neither. I wouldn't touch video content with a 10-foot pole, as they say. 😅 I'm sure it took Pixelfed months to grow a decent user base, but if this carries on, it'll shrink into oblivion before it gets a chance to really take off. ☚ī¸ And those ex-Pixelfed users certainly won't be switching to Loops instead.
Yes, I learned about this one the hard way early on in my Pixelfed journey. 😞 My workaround is to delete the post where I forgot a hashtag and repost it, but that only makes sense if you catch the error straight after posting. It's so frustrating that nothing ever happens with those ancient GitHub posts. Even just an acknowledgement would be nice ...
that's a genuinely magnificent shot ~ immediately made me want to be there
