It's shoved in a corner beside a Mac Studio hooked up to a Studio XDR display. They at least left it ambiguous as to which machine is hooked up to the display if you're not really looking.
@ecschwarz @colincornaby Speaking the Mac Studio, the fact its product page says "Powered by the most advanced Apple silicon, Mac Studio is the ultimate pro desktop." kind of tells you what they think of the Mac Pro so I'm surprised it's still around.
It's a lovely case though. Maybe they should sell just that as a enclosure for the Mac Studio.
@fds Oooh maybe as a BTO option for the Mac Studio if someone needs more expansion? (Sort of like how there’s the rack mount Pro and VESA Mounted iMac.)
@ecschwarz Initially I meant it in a slightly more sarcastic way that the case on its own could be empty and just let you put a whole Mac Studio in it and that would be better at this point.
But actually if they could design the internals in a way that the option to slot it in a Mac Pro case for the expansion feels like the best way to keep the Pro alive. I'm not sure they'd do it because I bet it would compromise the look of the inside of the Mac Pro.
