it takes a special kind of idiot to love the fender jaguar but boy do I
this is an 84 MIJ which I got in 88 when I was 15. it’s the possession that’s been with me longest in my life. been knocked around, modified, played the heck out of all over the uk, europe, australia, on a load of records. a talisman
never wanted a real vintage guitar; I want an instrument that’s an equal, not something I have to revere. over time I’ve grown together with this thing. I could never sell it
@rdg_music feel very much the same and tbh never really been fussed about what brand name is on a guitar. "How does it play? How does it sound? How does it feel in my hands?" ... nothing else matters does it? Nice if I like the 'look' but not important really.
My Strat is an early 80s Squier MiJ and it's lovely, bit of a Trigger's broom as far as the hardware goes after 40 years 😁
My others are a diverse and motley crew - two basses, fretted and fretless, two electro acoustics steel and nylon.
