"Doctor Who" plot concept: The Doctor and his current female companion use the TARDIS to make recordings of the currently still missing early Doctor Who episodes during their original broadcasts, then bring the recordings back to enable the creation of a complete set for streaming today.

Lost Doctor Who and the Daleks episodes discovered in 'ramshackle' collection

The Doctor's assistant Peter Purves was invited to a screening of the episodes in Leicester.

@lauren more likely: they have to prevent it somehow.
@StrangeNoises Doctor: "You don't understand. If those old broadcasts are streamed now, the entire wheeny whiney fabric of space and time could unravel. The universe could simply cease to exist in a flash, all because of those episodes. We must stop them from ever streaming! This is so much worse than the Daleks and Cybermen that I can't even begin to explain!'
@lauren it's because someone was clearly visible in the episode who could not possibly be there.
@lauren @StrangeNoises Also: Cybermen! Menacing expressionless clankie androids that threaten to "upgrade" you. Wouldn't they be more effective if they were spun a *sexy* drones playing on a latex/bondage fetish vibe? They'd be sure to get a significant number of volunteers, especially if they added "dress code: no more office wear" to their blandishments! Just skin-tight bodysuits (and a body modified to look good in them).
@lauren @StrangeNoises My eyes are squinting. Can you feel them squinting? It's because I don't recall Dr Who saying this. Any hint on season and ep?🥺
