I hate mowing the lawn so I scattered a bunch of seeds that strangle the grass. They unexpectedly flowered and now I get lots of butterflies and my neighbours don't.

I ran over an adder once as it crossed the A43. Couldn't avoid it. I felt it through the wheels, poor thing.
