Saturday has finally fought its way past the rest of the week & is sitting in the garden all bright & full of the joys of Spring!
I’ve woken up rather dopey (Stop it!) & am hoping that coffee revives me in due course!
Mrs S is off shopping in a bit so peace will reign for a couple of hours.

Well it might be sunny here but it’s not overly warm - about 5ºC outside at the moment!
At some point I need to get out & attend to the garden but I’m aware that my spine has still not forgiven me for last weeks efforts so not today!
Might go wild & do a little bit more in the box room though, it’s mildly addictive!

Relaxing now watching something on Stonehenge.
I fancy a movie later, but that will be dependant on Mrs S I guess. As for popcorn it’s been years since I had popcorn!

Over here, brunch was had & now I' partway through The Amazing Spiderman (2012) the kid with the messy spiky hair & at least 50% rom-com.

We have gone old school & are watching ‘The Hunt for Red October’ it reminds me of … simpler times!
@amiserabilist @Soldusty I struggle to choose a lot of the time.
9/10 times I want to watch a movie when I goto bed I end up spending so long debating what I want to watch I end up too tired to watch anything having spent a fruitless hour failing to choose anything!
It’s easier with 2 people becasue one can instantly dismiss all the movies one knows that the other person doesn’t enjoy - for example tonight I found out that Mrs S didn’t overly enjoy watching the Dune movies, so they will now be added to the list of movies to watch while she is in the office during the week.
We did both enjoy watching ‘The Hunt for Red October’ though. We are going to have a bit of a Jack Ryan fest over the next few days.

I tend to read most nights when I go to bed, just for ½ an hour or so before I fall asleep, but on occasion I do look for a movie & it can be excruciating. I’m like that during the day too, I will spend forever picking a movie & then get distracted ½ way thru watching it!
Not a big fan of YT & I couldn’t say why, I think there is so much content that I get overwhelmed just thinking about it!
I sometimes watch Tom Hiddleston narrating ‘Earth at Night, in colour.’ Which is ideal bedtime watching when you need sometihng calming & short!

On YT I'll stick to the channels I follow, ignore the ones that don't upload movies so that's me down to 2 channels & a couple of playlists.

In our new paper published in Nature, we have traced the Altar Stone’s source to north-east Scotland, meaning it travelled at least 430 miles (700km) to Salisbury Plain. This is an incredible distance for Neolithic times, before the wheel is thought to have arrived in Britain. This stunning discovery sheds new light on the capabilities and long-range connections of Britain’s Neolithic inhabitants.
There is no direct evidence that human sacrifice was practiced at Stonehenge, though it was primarily used as a, cemetery (500 years of cremations) and a sacred, monumental complex. While myths suggest sacrifice, particularly around the named "Slaughter Stone," this is a later invention. Some burials indicate potential violent deaths, but evidence is scarce.
