I also have to sometimes manually turn up my brightness by one because software will override the monitor's physical brightness setting and down it to like 25%

Pilsnerd@VermStudio I was running into an issue on wayland where my main GPU would go to sleep every time there was motion on the screen (LOL?!). This image popped into my head every time it would happen.
