Very strong data modem transmission at 14.85 MHz. Gonna be military. Houston, TX.

@FuturisticRobert currently receiving in grid DO10 (my hackrf doesn't like HF, but it's there):
@ghostsarespooky FWIW I'm at EL29 and using an RTL-SDR Blog V3 with a bunch of shit between it and an active loop. Lots of birdies and some FM leaking in but it's working good. My HackRF needs a replacement microcontroller after I destroyed it with a ground loop from my iCOM-7100. I have the microcontroller replacement I just need the time to do it.

@FuturisticRobert Oof, sorry to hear about that ground loop - never fun letting the smoke out of expensive gear. My HackRF is listening to my Hustler 5BTV, or what's left of it anyway. (Trees smashed it in a wind storm a couple years ago and I chopped off the bent parts and put it back up. It's not great, but it's something.)

I tried listening to 14.850 with my FT-100D but the 2.4 kHz audio pass-band is too small. 😂

@ghostsarespooky I'm using RTL-TCP and watching it on mute from across the network in my office using SDR++.

GQRX seems to have problems lately and SDR++ is easier to use.

EDIT: FWIW I'm a destroyer of hamsticks.

@FuturisticRobert If you haven't smashed at least one antenna, are you even a HAM?
