Via libera dall'assemblea capitolina alla delibera sul Piano di fattibilità tecnica ed economica (Pfte) del nuovo Stadio della Roma nell'area di Pietralata. L'approvazione è arrivata con 39 voti favorevoli, 5 astenuti e 0 contrari. "La prima pietra" del nuovo stadio della Roma, "noi la immaginiamo nella prima parte del 2027. È assolutamente possibile perché adesso abbiamo un Pfte di 30.000 pagine, il riconoscimento dell'interesse pubblico confermato dall'assemblea capitolina e quindi può partire speditamente il Pao (piano di assetto organizzativo) che grazie anche alla scelta di avere una struttura commessa italiana nella parte del governo, che spero potrà concretizzarsi nei prossimi giorni, sarà in qualche modo gestita con tempi più rapidi", ha commentato il sindaco di Roma, Roberto Gualtieri. +
"Questo può consentire tutti i passaggi intermedi, il progetto esecutivo, la verifica per arrivare appunto nel '27 all'apertura dei Cantieri ad avere il proprio prima pietra e quindi poi ha dei tempi che sono previsti dal progetto che non sono particolarmente lunghi, quindi di avere questo stadio ben prima anche del suo possibile impiego per gli Europei di calcio del 2032", ha detto il sindaco a Sky Sport, al termine in assemblea capitolina della discussione sulla delibera sul Piano di fattibilità tecnica ed economica dello Stadio della As Roma nell'area di Pietralata. Gualtieri, nel ringraziare nuovamente i Friedkyn per l'investimento di "un miliardo" ha poi rimarcato che il nuovo impianto "sarà in campo" per Euro 2032.
