That was for a long time the UK's task as far as Washington was concerned. Getting the UK to leave the EU was supposed to start the dominoes toppling - many in the UK promoting the "leave" cause claimed other countries would quickly follow the UK's lead.
Like so many claims by those promoting "leave", they were wrong.

@kevinrns @EugeneMcParland Certainly there are plenty of people (Heritage Foundation, et al) pulling the strings, but Mango Mussolini needs a majority in Congress to get away with his worst impulses. Mid-terms do not look favorable to Republicans at the moment, but the bigger question to me is whether he'll go away quietly after his term is up. I suspect the Heritage fascists are busy looking for someone malleable, with some special combination of bombast and charisma, to replace him.
