Maybe things are better by the 24th century, but in 2026, I think it would be more accurate to say that computers _rarely_ do what we want, or even what we ask for. Most commercial software in 2026 is hot garbage. Vendors develop and market software based on having huge numbers of features, not robustness or reliability.

@brouhaha i dont know what youre talking about my computer does exactly what i tell it to, all it took to get to this point was avoiding malware (people seem to not understand what malware means, by definition it is malicious software, for example the wannacry virus, the spyware installer tlauncher, or the windows trojan made by microsoft which is preinstalled on nearly every computer)
