Roma, 10 mar. (Adnkronos) - “Dallo studio appena presentato emergono considerazioni su una generazione che si trova davanti ad un mondo pieno di possibilità ma anche pieno di problemi. Questa generazione chiede, forse troppo a bassa voce, un cambiamento, e si ritrova a combattere sia con sé stessa sia con adulti che hanno creato un mondo troppo complicato”. È quanto riferito da Mauro Magatti, professore di Sociologia dell'università Cattolica di Milano, intervenuto a Roma alla presentazione dei risultati della prima iniziativa dell'Osservatorio permanente di Fondazione Unhate sulla condizione giovanile in Italia: “Fragile – mappae mundi di una nuova generazione”, uno studio sulla fragilità degli italiani tra i 13 e i 24 anni.
Poi aggiunge: “Dobbiamo creare le condizioni idonee per far sì che questo potenziale nascosto emerga, un potenziale messo in evidenza proprio dalla ricerca. I numeri dicono che un giovane su cinque fa un percorso positivo nella propria adolescenza, ma anche che uno su quattro vive una situazione di blocco, di chiusura, di rifiuto. Ecco, dobbiamo mettere in campo azioni dentro i territori che invertano questa tendenza, portando a crescere la percentuale di giovani che vivono la potenziale apertura come un vero processo di attivazione”.

Rome, March 10 (Adnkronos) - “From the recently presented study emerge considerations about a generation facing a world full of possibilities but also full of problems. This generation asks, perhaps too quietly, for a change, and finds itself fighting both with itself and with adults who have created a world that is too complicated.” This was stated by Mauro Magatti, a professor of Sociology at the Catholic University of Milan, who spoke in Rome at the presentation of the results of the first initiative of the Permanent Observatory of the Fondazione Unhate on the condition of young people in Italy: “Fragile – maps of a new generation”, a study on the fragility of Italians between the ages of 13 and 24.
He then adds: “We must create the suitable conditions for this hidden potential to emerge, a potential highlighted precisely by the research. The numbers show that one in five young people has a positive path in their adolescence, but also that one in four lives a situation of blockage, closure, or rejection. Here, we must implement actions within the territories that reverse this trend, leading to an increase in the percentage of young people who experience potential openness as a real process of activation.”
