It was excellent. Made me realize that the biggest thing I have going for me isn't that I'm managing to save money growing most of my own food. It's that I've learned regenerative farming on a very small scale, and mainly have learned to be happy with less.
In other words happy with my basic needs being met, and finding joy in small things. I feel like if we all learned this we could save humanity.

Commenting to add that I'm perfectly aware of my privilege in renting this space where I can grow so much food. And also know that it's possible to grow at least SOME food on a windowsill or balcony in the city, as I did for seven years, as well. Even growing my own sprouts and herbs made a difference. My privilege then wasn't the space I had available to me. It was prioritizing myself and my food over more conventional pursuits. It was becoming happy by doing those simple things.
