@bert_hubert Hey ik vroeg mij af, wat is jouw mening over de afhankelijkheid van iOS en Android en dat er nu in het kader van deze afhankelijkheid gekeken wordt naar b.v. het Europese /e/OS wat echter ook gewoon Android is en nog steeds compleet afhankelijk van Amerikaanse big tech? Het zit mij dwars dat daar alle aandacht heen gaat en niet naar de _echte_ alternatieven (Linux mobile) die alle hulp kunnen gebruiken, ook zeker op het gebied van app support zoals DigiD en banken.

@bart het is me bekend maar zo maken we het probleem veel te groot. In Europa moet eerst meer ervaring opgedaan worden met eenvoudige dingen zelf weer doen, voordat we de echt hele grote dingen aan kunnen pakken (zoals iedereen een andere telefoon geven).

Dat neemt naar mijn mening overigens niet weg dat er pioniers nodig zijn die aan de slag gaan met #LinuxMobile. Ik gebruik zelf een #Librem5 telefoon. Ook als 2FA om in te loggen bij #DigiD, via SMS :-)

Mijn telefoon integreert bijvoorbeeld ook out of the box met #Nextcloud. Bij de setup kun je een Nextcloud-account opgeven. Ik gebruik dat voor bestanden, tasks, kalender en contacten.

On my Android phone, I needed *five* apps to use Nextcloud -- one to synchronize calendars & tasks, another to display calendars, another to display tasks, another (the main one) to display photos and media, and another to create notes.

With your set-up, do you have all those apps too?

Yes, I need several apps, but only to register to Nextcloud once, IIRC.

I use for example
- https://apps.gnome.org/Contacts/
- https://apps.gnome.org/Calendar/
- https://flathub.org/en/apps/org.gnome.Calls
- https://apps.gnome.org/Nautilus/
- https://flathub.org/en/apps/sm.puri.Chatty

These apps are by default installed. Except from Chatty and Calls, I use the same applications on my Linux desktop.

@number6 @janvlug @bert_hubert Although I want the synchronization of all of them, the actual things you mention are all different and I'd _want_ them in separate apps. Do you really consider it a problem?
