After some serious 'distro'-hopping during the past 2 months, it looks I will be settling on #Kubuntu 25.10 for now.

To me, it brings quite a good balance of support, gaming and eye candy.

Did you already leave #Microslop behind? What is your favorite Linux distro (and why)?

Linux Mint, hands down. Been using it forever. My desktop needs to just work, not be someone else's pet project 😅
With regards to gaming, got 445 games in my Steam account and I only buy games that run on Linux (native or Proton doesn't matter), haven't had issues for ages.

@timstoop I have to be honest, mint was not part of my 'distro'-hopping-experience because I already know it's a great distro.

Somewhere along the way I fell a bit in love with KDE 6 plasma. I'm in the same boat: desktop needs to just work.
