The intel Alder Lake N150 works great on Ubuntu 24.04, much better than on Win11 25H2 (even if it is better CPU wise than 23/4H2). 👈
👍 Under 10W, amazing for a 4 cores. The fan is a bit noisy but compared to the street noise, nothing. 🤯

NB: I would have never bought a miniPC without the #DDR5 crisis btw. It is heating quite a bit, probably throttling on compilation and long computes (I tried DeepSeek 1.5B, the best CPU burner ever created -> 81C @ 17toks/s), it doesn't go over 81C tho, but the fan is full on, and painfully noisy. It is better than a #RPI for a miniNAS or an office/surfing desktop and cheaper now (again DDR5 crisis..); etc..

my BMAX #minipc doesn't come out from deep sleep (it does on win11). More work ahead. I am planning to move to a #BSD OS for good, #ubuntu is AI friend, and business genAI is an insult to everything I have done and worked for extremely hard in my life..
