@Lebramor They have quite a lot of excel-related patents indeed. They patented "entering a formula into a cell" and "method for data validation". Two things I do on a daily basis not in Excel.

Oh, and they patented pivot tables. And cloud collaboration like Google sheets does.

What they didn't patent, was "a spreadsheet". Because that thing existed long before Excel existed.

AI vomits up the programming, 3d models, art, sound effects, music, voices. AI plays the game. Humans exist to keep the data centres running and ensure that the bigwigs keep making money.

Sadly, I can see MS and some other companies wanting to do exactly this.

@dgar This is Microslop pure. Fits also to the new XBOX leadership. The idea is, to buy games and gamepass plus coilot license to let the games be played by AI and get the achievements - WOW 🙈 I.e. If I would decide to go for Dark Souls I want exaclty this challange, if i run other games to enjoy the story, I can go on easy - however it is about the experience and the feeling not about AI.

Far from me to want to defend AI but isn't this description a bit dishonest?

I can see the gain from getting stuck in a game and just press a button to get unlocked.

At this point your alternative will be to read badly written guides online that can't bother putting enough screenshots or find the 10s solution in a 4 hour video :/

To me this is a "good" usage of AI... if it works... and putting aside all the ethical issues...
