Ongoing discourse around the prospect of Alberta separation is emerging as a top concern for Calgary businesses, many of whom say the debate is already impacting the local economy, a new Calgary Chamber of Commerce survey suggests.

I'm surprised the CPC hasn't stepped into the debate. After all, if Alberta separates Parliament will be 34 seats smaller, 33 of which are conservative seats.
With the loss of the Alberta conservative stronghold, the CPC will never be elected to govern ever again.
