I'd say Ryka Aoki Light from Uncommon Stars, The Stars are Legion by Kameron Hurley, and Margaret Killjoy's The Lamb Will Slaughter the Lion.

Martha Wells. Murderbot is a joy.
Andre Norton's SF works form the foundation of a lot of modern SF.
Sharon Lee (who mostly writes with her now late husband, Steven Miller) and the Liaden universe is legendary.
