@stancarey it's funny how the article makes no mention of Thomass accent being a Norrie one, and generalizes 'irish' accents into a single thing....

@ColmDonoghue It generalizes several countries' accents (Welsh, Trinidadian, etc.), which I think is fair enough given the surface-only linguistic detail; it's more about the historical and social aspects. I'd be interested in what Raymond Hickey thinks, though
