It's stupid that a game like Curse of Monkey Island (which runs through #ScummVM) is only offered for Windows and Mac on #GOG and #Steam storefronts. Because.....ScummVM isn't exclusive to those platforms. So I have to let #Heroic or #Lutris install the game using Wine/Proton, and then run the game with the bundled copy of Windows ScummVM.

I can copy the necessary files (Resources folder and three others) to another folder, and then add the game with my #Linux copy of ScummVM (which is way...

...more up to date than the ancient Windows version bundled with the purchase, and in any case I don't need a million versions of the same program clogging up my storage).

But how many people would know to do this? How many people would know to jump through these hoops? Should I even support with a purchase if they can't be bothered to simply include a Linux version (just bundle it with a Linux version of ScummVM, super easy)?
