Over the years since I started social #transition and HRT, I've learned a lot about #hair. And the main thing I learned, that I wish I had learned quicker, was that my hair looks best *short*. Longer hair doesn't make me look more feminine, it just looks weird on me. I should have maybe realized this when looking at my cis female family members, and seeing that all of them have short or very short cuts. Even in her younger years my Mom would have looked bizarre with long hair.

Old person rant:

I hate this trend of omitting the verb "to be" in sentences, e.g. "It needs fixed". I'm pretty sure it's an Americanism, which as they tend to do, is creeping into Canadian English via the internet. Same with Canadians saying "y'all".

Ok, I know it's not exactly a "trend", but I use that word because it's something I've only noticed in the last few years, and definitely increasing lately. It annoys the hell out of me.
