The U.K. government has laid two amendments that would let it sidestep parliamentary debate so it can update online safety laws.

Absolutely. When we rewrote the constitution for #Cambridge City Council we didn't write a constitution to give us the powers we thought we'd like whilst we were running the council, we wrote it to provide the safeguards we'd want when one day we ended up in opposition.
