RE4: possibly my favorite video game ever

RE2 and RE8: amazing

RE3, RE7, and RE9: very good

RE1: really tough to enjoy with modern sensibilities

RE5 and RE6: played a few minutes and hated them. Might give them another go one day.

@matt_birchler if I hadn’t played a single RE game, what is a good place to start? I tried RE1 but gave up due to the controls. I now have RE7 and then Village thanks to Ps plus and was thinking RE7 and then Village.

@brzz @imthaz Resident Evil 2 remake is absolutely the best place to start IMO. Modern controls, survival horror, but with just enough modern niceties.

RE4 remake is a good place if you want a more action-packed, less scary game.
